Sacred Threads | Crafting Intentional Wall Art

Wall Hanging class will return one more time in January 2027! Start your year with purpose and creativity in this online class that blends mindful making with magic and ritual. Together, we’ll craft a small, personalized fabric wall hanging or altar cloth that beautifully represents your goals and intentions for the year ahead.

  • As it’s been mentioned a few times in class, the state of things in our lives has been so very challenging to process. Yet coming to my fabric, my machine, my needle and thread, my intention, has given me space to be and to breathe. While it doesn’t change anything of what is going on externally, it has definitely supported me internally and my hope is that somewhere my cosmic thread continues to add to our great tapestry that is life.

In addition to learning the practical skills needed to make my own vest, I came away with a newfound appreciation for working on projects slowly and with intention, thanks to Justice’s prompts. I really appreciated the additional lessons on topics like color theory, community, and symbols, but most of all it was such a joy to spend those 2 hours each week in community with like-minded sewists. And I have worn my vest every single day since finishing it!
